1. Purpose of this policy

This Privacy and Cookie Policy explains how ipieeja.org processes personal data, uses cookies and other browser technologies, and how you can manage your choices.

2. Controller and contact

You may also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija) if you believe your rights have been infringed.

3. Data we process

• contact and account data, such as your name and email address;
• order, invoice and communication information when you use our services;
• comments, reviews and messages you submit;
• technical information needed for security, operation and troubleshooting;
• your consent choice, consent version, time and technical audit information where needed to demonstrate consent.

IP address and browser information in the consent log are stored in encrypted form only when the relevant personal-data processing has been permitted. Necessary security and transaction records may be retained on another legal basis.

4. Purposes and legal bases

• Operation and security: technically necessary sessions, anti-forgery and security controls, based on legitimate interest and secure operation.
• Accounts and orders: registration, authentication, order fulfilment, invoices and communication, based on contract or legal obligation where applicable.
• Language and accessibility preferences: saving language, colours, font size and interface choices; persistent storage is based on consent.
• Analytics: Google Analytics for site-use statistics, based on your prior consent.
• Advertising: Google AdSense and Google Ads, including personalised advertising where permitted by your choices, based on your consent.

Browsing or closing the banner is not consent. Optional technologies are activated only after an appropriate choice.

• consent logs — up to three years after withdrawal when needed to demonstrate accountability;
• optional cookies and browser storage — until deletion or withdrawal.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing where provided by law. You can manage consent in settings or withdraw it on the withdrawal page.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Some data may remain where required for contract, accounting, security or another legal obligation.

We use HTTPS, access controls, security mechanisms and encryption to protect processed data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy when site functions, providers, processing purposes or legal requirements change. Material changes may require you to review your consent choices again.
